Labor Visa is for foreigners who come to work, engage in a profession or work in a company, organization or organization that operates within the Lao PDR legally.
Those who will be granted a labor visa:
Foreigners who have been employed, have an employment contract with a company, organization or organization established under the laws of the Lao PDR.
Documents required:
Company documents: Enterprise registration certificate, annual tax payment certificate of the company and business license (if any), investment license (if any),
Visa applicant documents: Copy of passport and photo
Rights
Have the right to work or work, receive policy rights and benefit protection under the Labor Law of the Lao PDR Laos.
Entitled to register for work, stay and visa with a maximum validity of 1 year (can be extended).
Entitled to sponsor a companion visa for their family members.
Process
Before entering the Lao PDR, the sponsor must complete the necessary documents, submit the registration and apply for an investor visa. The processing time is 10 business days.
After entering the Lao PDR, the sponsor or family visa holder must submit the original passport with the visa and stamp at the Lao border checkpoint to apply for a residence permit and multiple-entry visa according to the initial visa validity period. The processing time is 15 business days.
