What this service covers
A tourist visa is a visa for foreigners who intend to travel, vacation, or visit family, relatives, or friends in the Lao PDR.
Those who will be granted a tourist visa:
Travelers or tourists who plan to travel to visit
Documents required:
Visa applicant's documents: Copy of passport and photo
Travel documents: Airline ticket and hotel reservation (if staying at a friend's or relative's house, please indicate the location of the accommodation and the phone number of the host)
Rights
The right to temporarily stay and travel within the Lao PDR.
Process
Before entering the Lao PDR Travelers must apply for a tourist visa at least 48 hours before departure.
Notes for new entry visa service
Laosway offers new entry tourist visa service only at Wattay Airport, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. Upon arrival at Wattay Airport, service staff will greet you at the check-in counter in front of the entrance gate before the immigration police checkpoint and will guide you through the visa application and immigration checkpoint, and then escort you to the baggage claim area, which is the end of the service.
